I am a huge fan of the Gita so really enjoyed this piece. However, Krishna, does show himself to be a God that does give commands. When his nurturing approach with Arjuna is failing - 'I will not fight' - he becomes firmer. He points out that Arjuna's reluctance is unbecoming of a warrior of God, he implies Arjuna is being cowardly and commands him to 'stand up and fight.'

I think this is important.

It demonstrates a loving and nurturing God, but a God of expectation, nonetheless.

Have a great day from Australia!
